The prophet Joel (2:30) is among the many divine messengers who promise there will come a time--in the Last Days-- that God will pour out his spirit and He will show wonders in the heaven and in the earth. Signs and wonders are miracles interpreted as supernatural events that can not be explained by natural or physical forces and point to the truth of the Gospel. There are also certain cosmic signs that point to the end of time and the Second coming of Christ that is detailed in the Book of Revelation.  Miracles did not stop with Jesus and the Disciples.
